After 3 months of insane releases with approximately 80 games per week, December is the first month of the year where game publishers are slowing down their slew of games to allow gamers everywhere to catch up on games they may have missed. Which is a relief money wise. So without further ado, let's begin! Just don't forget that release dates are subject to date....
Prince of Persia (X360-PS3; Scheduled date: December 2nd) - The Prince is back in a different style - Cel Shading style. Once again, you will control the Prince and perform acrobatic feats and combat skills to defeat Ahriman’s corrupted lieutenants. Further more, Ubisoft has big plans as far as downloadable content is concerned. However no more is known
Destroy All Humans Path of Furon (PS3-X360; Scheduled date: December 1st) - Crypto is back for a third adventure. This time our favorite little martian is invading the 1970's. With old and new weapons, you'll mind control humans on your way to conquering the world!
Rock Band 2 (PS2-Wii; Scheduled date: December 22nd) - For a third month out of 4, December will see the release of 2 more versions of Rock Band 2. After being out for X360 for 2 months and 1 month for PS3, the owners of PS2's and Wii's will be able to join the rock n' roll tour next month. And in the Wii version, Harmonix promises online play and access to downloadable content on the Wii Store. In an unprecedented announcement, Harmonix will also give access to all the songs previously downloadable for Rock Band 1!
Rygar the Battle of Argus (Wii; Scheduled date: December 9th) - A remake of the beautiful game that came out back in 2002, this version will include motion control which will provided more freedom and ease to control the Diskarmor.
Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4 (PS2; Scheduled date: December 9th) - After the surprising hit of Persona 3, Atlus went straight to work on a 4th iteration of the Persona series which is part of the popular Shin Megami Tensei family. Released in Japan earlier this year, earning a few gold scores, the game finally comes to this side of the world. In the Persona series, you summon creatures from cards to unleash brutal attacks on your ennemies. Not only will you fight ennemies at night, but during the day, you'll need to create social links to improve, not only friendships, but also the strength of your Personas. You'll also be able to participate in various activities like fishing and also finding a part time job!
Hopefully, you guys enjoyed this little preview of December's releases and this will help you make smart choices while buying your games. Thank you for your time!
